Really because that's exactly how it went in the United States when they introduced the Six Strikes program. A lot of people even started complaining about their bills. Guess why? That's what I suppose we all expected. So if you jump on a torrent for the latest hollywood movie or pop album on a public tracker, you're at risk of a dreaded letter, but otherwise business as usual. I rarely get movies anyway.

but reading through the article it looks like its just torrents not links, is because businesses use links to send files a round the world and can not block them

blocking people not answer because they will find ways to get round it like forcing them to go to the hidden Wiki. Where downloading films,music and software is replace by all the nasty stuff that hidden Wiki has to offer.
