As soon as I saw the title I was thinking Bonham... and sure enough there he was. :wow: *yes*
"At last, hard proof that John Bonham really was a genius." Well...
    Interesting read, thanks!

Really? Since all humans are intelligent beings is that a hard proof Bill O'Reilly is an underestimated genius?

    The hell they are! :bleh:
I can took a couple of Beethoven, Chopin or Clementi's pieces for piano where you have to match complex rhytmic configurations with both hands while playing 2-3 or even 4 voices at the same time.

    I agree. :mates:

Yeah, we all know Ringo is a genius. :P Jk. He had good timing and kept it simple = a good solid and dynamic foundation.
Funny enough, Paul wrote a kindergarden'ish song especially for Ringo to sing (and we all know how bad of a singer he was/is).

Yeah, I'm a drummer myself (since age 4).

Can any of you drummer guys play 5 beats to a note (quintuplet) with one hand, 3 beats to a note (triplet) with the other and then 2 beats to a note with the foot.
    At the same time, lol
It's an old- maybe impossible- trick rhythm...
    Neil Peart anywhere?

Here's an interesting thread about Whole note in 5/4:

I used to practice polyrhythms. Not so much anymore. Useful skill to apply when needed, but does not come up too often in most of my gigs. Play the occasional odd meter. Trying to understand all the ways to use Latin clave rhythms and all their relatives is a never ending rhythmic world in itself. (clave translates as "the key").

Paul: "John, why don't you sing this song?" John: "Because it's a silly one. You wrote it, you sing it!" Paul and John together: "I know...We'll let Ringo sing it." When it comes to scary polyrhythm timing ability, I vote for Bill Bruford.
