    [SOLVED]

In my case, Native Instruments folder existed was missing in Documents folder. I pasted C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products into the filepath of a Windows Explorer window, hit enter, and subsequently the .json files show up. I deleted these and now my libraries are showing correctly. Hope this helps for anyone whose Native Instruments folder is missing from Documents folder as well.

Hi, I'm on Windows 10 using Kontakt 8 ((Bob_Dule version). I moved some libraries to a new drive, and tried re-adding the libraries again using the Kontakt_Button. However these libraries now appear as missing in Kontakt 8.

I cannot find the folder "installed_products" that's supposed to hold .json files in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products, hence I'm not able to delete any .json files to reset the libraries. I've attached a screenshot of my Documents folder.

I did a deep scan, but the .json files are not showing up either.

Can anyone advise me here please? Thank you in advance.

i dont know ,but i know if you would delete the json files, next time you open kontakt, kontakt writes all the json files automatically again.
so perhaps you could try to mek a folder yaselfin C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments and call it installed_products,so thatnext time you openkontakt ,it ll most likely rewrite the json files. never needed to do that myself, but it might work in your case.

    good luck

EDIT I just now watched the picture you ve add.seems theres no NI folder at all besides the NI resources.??

Thank you so much ijah Tafari for suggesting I create a folder for the missing one. I managed to locate the .json files, but in a roundabout way starting from your solution.

Yes I missed mentioning "Native Instruments" and "installed_products" were both missing in the C Drive. So I tried to create a new "Native Instruments" folder as you suggested.

Turns out, Native Instruments did exist in the C Drive but was not appearing for some reason. I found this out when i tried to create a new "Native Instruments" folder, and got a prompt asking if I wanted to merge it with an existing "Native Instruments" folder. I clicked yes, but then "Native Instruments" still did not appear.

Subsequently, I pasted C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products into the filepath of a Windows Explorer window, hit enter, and lo and behold, the .json files showed up. I deleted these and now my libraries are showing correctly.

Thank you again ijah Tafari, you're a life saver!
