I think audio companies are rushing new versions of everything to the market as fast as possible because they are hungry for more money, or even having financial problems... it doesn't smell good. :( It seems like they released Cubase 13 just last year or something. Same think is happening with Native Instruments.

they are indeed hungry for money. sad this... by the way i used cubase but switched to studio one because it is so fast workflow and i like the look of the daw. in cubase it took 10 minutes and in studio one 30 seconds to do the same task

Looks as Blocky as always.. :bleh:

Session View alla Ableton is a real win tho..
It's what Ableton brought to the table, changing the paradigm,
but I've only seen Reaper do it to some extent..

Perhaps a viable alternative option for frustrated Live 11/12 users then? :dunno:

First install Cubase and see if you can handle it, test the DAW and its diverse options and workflow for several weeks and then decide FOR YOURSELF. You have to experience a DAW in practice in reality and letters on paper are useless.

    DAWproject Support
We are excited to introduce support for DAWproject files in Cubase 14. DAWproject is an open file format enabling seamless project transfers between DAWs, offering users greater flexibility and efficiency. This format allows you to transfer entire projects with the full structure—tracks, channels, and groups—preserved, eliminating the need to export individual stems and reducing time and effort.

    Interesting!
Seems like Bitwig and Presonus are into it..

Why would you switch from S1 to Cubase? S1 was developed by former Cubase developers, who were tired of the outdated UI and UX of Cubase and wanted to create a more straightforward DAW with equal capabilities.

What makes you think that Cubase may be a better option? Just curious!
