Is there a program that you can drop a previously recorded music such as stems from separation and have it, either AI recreate it or a piece of software? I'm not referring o one of those AI sites that writes the music...Either a plugin or a standalone app?

Like i said probably a stupid question but I have no clue lol

    TIA

What do you mean by recreate it?

RipX will take audio, separate it, and give you the option to output MIDI files of it. You could drop stems into it and get MIDI from it, if that's what you mean.

if you have the song why do you want to recreate it? I don't understand the question, what are you trying to do?

thanks for the replies. Sorry I didn’t make myself clear. Kinda meant like a program or AI that will recreate say like from old recordings I’ve done. Using stem seperstion the piano is kinda muddy with artifacts so I was looking for something that could recreate that track without me having to remember (after all these years lol) how to play it again. I know ToonTracks has EzKeys that has bandmate but it doesn’t recreate the track.

the nice thing about making a track, is if you can make it, you can remake it. I record a lot of compostions created on the fly, and its not that hard to go back and figure out the chords or notes and play along. its usually easier to just remake it, rather than try to get a program to do what you've already done.

but I enjoy playing an instrument way more than playing with a computer program.

    good luck and good music..

well then the only path you can go today, is the one you allreday mentioned:
    1/ extract the piano
2/ load it into some audio-to-midi tool ( like Ezkeys)
3 / put a "new" piano on that.

or wait some time - then AI will give you the perfect piano without even going over midi.

    learning notes is futile.
We will all be assimilated :suicide:
