Just wanted to let people know that there's a great sale on PluginBoutique.com right now for Fuse Audio Labs plugins. I have never seen their prices this low.

    https://www.pluginboutique.com/manufacturers/433-Fuse-Audio-Labs

$15 for every plugin (at least all of the plugins that are available on PB).

This is an insane deal for plugins like VCS-1, which I find myself using all of the time even though I own 2 SSL channel strips, and the Lindell channel strips. Absolutely love VCS-1 (great for live play too as it's zero latency).

I don't own many of their other plugins but to my understanding they're considered to be very good, and $15 is a reasonable price to try out some of their stuff.

Check them out if you're interested and I'd be curious what plugins from Fuse Audio Labs other people recommend.

From the Damage Audio discord. Another reason I quit buying at PB is that some of my purchases now can only be activated installing a Beatport launcher.

Just putting the info out there.

Wtf are they doing at PluginBoutique to have solvency issues?!! It's one of (if not) the most popular and successful audio software marketplaces on the internet. That's slightly concerning.

In equally concerning news, I just logged in to my Fuse Audio Labs account to see if there was an update for VCS-1, and my legit license for VCS-1 is no longer in my account. It's just gone. Says I have no licenses.

I contacted support to see what's up with that.

Nothing like living in the day and age of licensing everything and not actually owning it.

Guess you can't win regardless of who you bought it from

Edit: Oh, PluginBoutique, Loopmasters and Beatport are all part of the same entity? I guess that opens up more opportunities for significant revenue gain, or revenue losses.

Update: Just heard back from Fuse Audio Labs with this message:

    "Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. We recently switched to a new payment service/merchant of record (FastSpring). The licenses purchased via MyCommerce will be imported into our database in the next couple of days. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Best,
    Ray"

Have to appreciate good customer support! I just caught them at a weird time.

    I love FAL's VREV-63.

There's a 55 page thread on the KVR-DSP forum on Digital River (Germany) / MyCommerce, who are one of the biggest web payment platforms, failing to pay customers (plugin developers). No one's gotten money from DR since July and the company's hired a "termination" CEO. There's a good chance DR Germany/Europe is going to fold, taking with it serious amounts of money from a lot of European software companies.

People are speculating that losing Kaspersky's (anti-virus) subscriptions was the death knell for DR. So now developers are scrambling to get on FastSpring or similar alternative platforms.

I noticed the same. To be honest: I have more trust in Fuse Audio solving the "missing licenses" issue than in Plugin Boutique solving their solvency issue. Considering that PB is THE major player in terms of audio plugin sales and I have dozens of licenses in my PB account, I'm quite concerned. How can they have solvency issues, unless there is some major mismanagement going on?

EDIT: I see, so this seems to be an issue residing with their payment provider Digital River, not with Plugin Boutique itself.

Thanks for the info. That adds a lot of clarity to the situation. It's unfortunate that this is more widespread than just PB being impacted.

This thread ended up being a lot more interesting than I anticipated haha.
