    It seems to be a "Tumbi". You can try other eastern string instruments with as few strings as possible.

    From what I saw, they're dirt cheap, too. (Also compared to buying a vsti or whatever)

    Thanks but is there some kind of VSTi or Kontakt library for this instrument ? i really like how it sounds :)

    There's Swar Systems SwarPlug and some loop packs that contain some Tumbi parts. I still think you'd be better off just buying the instrument...

    Believe it or not, but I think a tumbi would be an excellent beginner instrument (if one-string-only and fretless is your thing). :D

    Hi hi I bought one in India a couple of years ago.. very cheap... There was a woodworm inside, I didn't realize... one day I found it literally pulverized :wow: :dunno:

    If you're using Fl Studio, try Fruity MIDI Out, and check ;)
