Yes apparently Audiosex is growing exponentially, first it was Spitfire Audio's recognition of our site on their banner and yesterday we took it to a whole other level and that's what caused our downtime. When I was finally able to log-in we had more than 4,000 people online with that article garnering more than 43,000 views. I haven't even begun the advertising that I was planning because I am in the middle of so many projects and I wanted some time to plan it properly. I am actually going to be advertising soon and with the release of the album and the secret project we're going to be overflowing with new members. We've just upgraded our systems to be able to support this influx and it boggles the mind to think that we haven't even relaunched yet and once that happens all the amazing things that will bring. When SAiNT and I looked at the analytics data it was like nothing we'd ever soon, it looked something like this: / and we're talking tens of thousands of connections. SAiNT rest assured I'm going to put an action plan together to get our name out there to make up for the bad SEO of IPB. By the way I believe SEO was on the menu for improvements in version 4 due out soon. I read they're recoding it from scratch so that's exciting. We'll see what they come up with when choosing our next forum platform but whatever we choose AudioSex is coming of age, remember that this forum is still young at only 3 years old. Now it's time to take what we've learned, the amazing people here and the helpful resources, refine the formula and come back with a bang. AudioSex is on the map mofos so suit up because we're taking it up a notch. It's going to be an interesting year.

Intro it was a lot more than 4,000 in a day. There were more than 4,000 people at any given time online but many of those 4,000 switched out with other people coming through so the real number would be infinitely greater.

Thanks so much, that will be really helpful. I also sent over a short video and a basic outline which should break it down. As soon as I finish up some of these projects and have more time I will be looking to get our name out there with some good old fashioned advertising. More important than that though is word of mouth. If you know any cool musicians who'd probably be interested in joining our community then by all means bring them by. Let's see where we could take this thing.

Believe me kearnsy that's been a thought on my mind as well. However we have to come to the realization that this is a problem that we can't hide from any longer no matter how high or low we may rank.

Obviously there are some good heads on the site but a lot of complete bollox is written by certain sections too.....
I dont use the site much personally but thought this was worth mentioning to reflect SOME of their users attitude...

Just want to add that these in no way reflect my opinions (in fact i use AN myself) and keep up the good work here at audiosex/audioz, been a member for quite a while now and is my fist stop of the day to see whats been happening...
I suppose there will always be haters out there, its just a shame all the negativity they put about...

 

dont use reddit to beef up your website, you cant just do that. If it happens , it happens, but dont push it. I'm not a reedit expert in any way,I just use the front pages for 10 mins a day, but my understanding is that the content posted there is for the content, not to draw visitors to your website or such.

Yeah that's actually why I don't use reddit myself, internet is filled with too many tools that wouldn't know their ass from their elbow but talk about it like they do. It annoys me to no end to read the comment section of just about any site and the saddest thing that people don't realize is that keeps them from making any kind of real change. You know what they say: there is no such thing as bad publicity. It's also pretty funny considering SAiNT is very well respected by a lot of people so if some idiots are talking shit it's either someone that isn't even a member or some disgruntled asshole. It could also be a site that we're in competition with, there are many that would like to divert traffic. While they keep talking all the while doing nothing even worthy of mention we keep rising...every...single...day. Let the ladies gossip.

Of course it's for content, I'm not going to use it simply for advertising. I think we have a lot of useful content that would be good to share with the world.

 

The way I look at is you only have to worry when they stop talking about you.

And I have to tell you there have been tons of rumors I've heard since starting here and practically none of them are true. People like to talk, that's about all they're good for. While they talk we build what they talk about.
