    Hey Guys

    I am looking for a good all round all in one vocal effects processor VST that has lots of different vocal effect types, something like TC Helion's hardware

    I want something that has the below effects and maybe that can use a combination of different effect types together in chain like REVERB / PITCH CHANGER / DELAY etc. etc

    Pitch Changer
    Harmony
    Reverbs
    Delays
    Voice Changers
    Chipmunk Sound

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Storm

    iZotope Nectar 3 Plus is a collection of effects that was developed specifically for vocal mixing. The plugin is equipped with EQ, gate, saturation, compressor, de-esser, limiter, delay and plate reverb. There is also real-time pitch correction à la Autotune and a harmony module with which you can create artificial harmony voices that match the fundamental tone of your song.

    Waves Ovox is a vocoder, talkbox, pitch/tune effect and harmonizer in one plugin. This is made possible by Waves' own ORS (Organic ReSynthesis) technology. Thanks to the countless setting options, there is hardly a vocal sound that cannot be tweaked. From the typical Daft Punk talkbox vocals to the 80s vocoder sound, you can really put everything together in the intuitive plugin.

    iZotope VocalSynth is a powerful vocal effects processor designed to transform vocal recordings into a wide range of sounds, from subtle enhancements to extreme vocal manipulations. It combines several vocal processing technologies, including vocoding, talkbox effects, pitch correction, and other modulation tools, into one versatile plugin.

    Key features include:

    1. Biovox: A module that uses the biology of the human voice to manipulate characteristics like breathiness, nasality, and formants.
    2. Vocoder: Classic vocoder effects, allowing you to blend voice with synths or other harmonic sounds.
    3. Compuvox: Adds a robotic or computerized feel to the voice, inspired by text-to-speech technology.
    4. Talkbox: Emulates the sound of a traditional talkbox, used famously in funk and rock music.
    5. Polyvox: A harmonizer that creates vocal harmonies and doubles the voice for rich, thick textures.
    VocalSynth also features advanced pitch correction, distortion, reverb, and a range of modulation effects, giving users creative control over vocal production. It's especially popular in electronic music, pop, and experimental genres for creating unique vocal textures.

    All good suggestions above, but since you're mentioning TC-Helicon, I’m not sure how much you care about performance/latency (like for tracking).

    Also, I know quite a few VSTs can take MIDI IN for harmonies (nice results with VocalSynth), but some TC-Helicon models can detect scale and create harmonies from audio input, like guitar or piano (and iirc even environmental audio). I don’t think any VST does that.. but I’d love to be proven wrong. ;)

    Did you mean hardware and do you have a Link/recommendation for TC - helicon?
    I got a model of TC-Helicon - Voice Works Plus but it is no longer produced. It is great but too expensive for many people.

    iZotope has that as previously mentioned.

    I wonder if there is someone who tried the UAD Topline Vocal Suite?
    I'm really tempted to upgrade to Ultimate 13, but this might be it to pull me into it (or not).

    EDIT: I was looking into this and I found another plugin: GAMMA Vocal Suite which has nine modules in it.

    I was always fascinated by vocoder, I think it's THE vocal fx.
    When vst took over I dug in.

    Any vst has pro and cons, however this is my suggestion list (beside all the other above posted):

    Infected Mushroom Manipulator - very simple setup, instant huge fun;
    Xils 5000 - imo the best vst vocoder emulation - complicated, but great sound and has also carrier sidechain;
    Melda Vocoder - 100 filter bands, great sound, a little complicated and needs (sidechain) external carrier;
    Image Line Vocodex - 100 filter bands, great sound, it has a lot of included carriers, a bit complicated (mostly in envelopes).

    I’ve got my eye on hardware vocal processors right now, but the OP’s question is the opposite, so it’d be kinda off-topic here. I checked out some TC-Helicon units, but not enough to recommend anything. I actually plan to ask about it in a new thread.

    My main point was that some TC-Helicon units use a separate audio input from an instrument, so if you strum a chord on guitar or play piano, it applies the harmony to the vocals in real-time. I don’t know of any VST that can do that (no idea why).

    Nuro Audio Xvox Pro. Its perfect for a quick fix. Wide range of presets, a few types of compression, eq curves, delay and verbs, and FX, that you can rapidly switch through. Customizable or just pick a preset and go. I sometimes even leave it in final mixes, tho i usually don't use these sort of one stop plugins in final mixes.

    Absolutely yes, if I'm not misunderstanding what you say, those I mentioned (can) take external carriers (some work only in this way), and use the played chords with whatever sound you input, guitar, organ piano, farts.:rofl:
    Or you mean that modulating voice is harmonized automatically (let's say in any desired scale or a third, fourth etc. up/down)?

    TC-Helicon - VoiceWorksPlus (Hardware)

    Features:

    - Creates up to four harmony voices from various musical inputs
    - Components developed by TC-Helicon vary the pitch, timing and intensity of the vocals, giving the impression of a whole group of singers
    - Vocal modeling effects - such as a virtual airflow, growl and resonance - enable the creation of new "voice personalities"
    - Vocal-optimized pitch correction block

    Presets where the harmony voices are controlled by MIDI

    Presets 1 to 10: Chord harmony voice mode
    Presets 11 to 20: Notes harmony voice mode
    Presets 57 to 60: Combi harmony voice mode

    If you connect a MIDI keyboard (or the MIDI output of a computer running sequencer software) to the MIDI input of the VoiceWorksPlus, you can use these presets to create any melodic or chordal accompaniment using harmony voices. The default setting is data on MIDI channel 1, so set your keyboard or MID

    Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to reply, I am very humbled by you all.

    It's been a lot of fun watching YT videos on all the suggestions and if I had unlimited funds I would have purchased them all.

    I ended up buying iZotope VocalSynth 2 and JST Howard Benson Vocals

    Thank you all again :)

    If you mean taking an audio track with, say, a vocal on it an putting something like VocalSynth on it and then controlling that with MIDI (track) and playing Cmaj7 will make that sound Cmaj7 or if you're talking classic vocoder modulator/carrier thing then yp, I think I mean a totally different thing.

    I mean a box/pedal that "hears" Cmaj7 and thinks - oh this is probably C maj - and then...:
    "..Moment-by-moment, the Harmony Singer 2 calculates whether to produce a major 3rd or a minor 3rd above, or a major 6th or a minor 6th below, by analyzing the vocal and the guitar or keyboard inputs, thereby creating consonant harmonies.."
    like this:

    I think this is useful for small gigs and certain genres but I still wonder, is there a VST that does it?? (maybe inside GP or similar)

    No-one has mentioned Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder. Any reason?

    You're right, I forgot, I tried too that.
    Is great, but I don't like:
    - (imo) neon light gui;
    - preset algos (black boxes);
    - heavy on cpu.
    But right, it deserves to be mentioned as a quality vocoder.

    I think that NI made something, it was "The mouth", I believe it's not as much advanced as tc.
