Im 100% agree with you with the online activation, i really hate it. About the EQ range its weird, dont know why they limit the calibration that way, maybe has to do with problems with calibration, really dont know

I don't think updating to v5.9 is safe yet because if R2R were sure about v5.9 they would have released it already. We don't know what new tricks the devs implemented under the hood in the updates after v5.7.2 went viral on the web - if random bombs or glitches happen the witches are suddenly to blaim . Anyways I'd say v5.7.2 works great, I see no reason to update in the near future so this time SoundID can't seduce me with software updates

FYI, you can use the latest version of the VST / VST3 plugin with the v5.7.2 core app (Windows), it works just fine.

There is no 5.7.2 version for macos, last version for mac is 5.6.1 from Trazor, and it doesn't for me.

Finally, I've realized that hang comes from blocking the services from firewall, if you block it on hosts it works right on last version.

I updated last week to 5.11.1, no problems so far. Nothing change since i created the thread. I block standalone to go online, so once activated, no problems appear.

Nope, R2R keygen is still the same. They will came out with a new keygen including this feature in the near future, im sure

Yep. Im still using the same way i posted a few months back, working great since then. Updated to last version, virtual monitoring still not working owing to last keygen not supporting it. Still waiting for a new keygen from the KINGS

Update which may be of interest for some: This method does no longer work with the recent v5.12.

v5.07 worked, but (maybe coincidence) I had slow internet, but more importantly after Windows hibernate-mode Systemwide lost the audio. Always had to change the buffer size setting within Systemwide to make it work again.
5.09 without any problems.

Tried it with the recent v5.12 installers (not the automatic installation, but saved the downloaded installer parts). Installs everything except Systemwide.
Reason was: missing an installed MS VS C++ 2015-2019 (VC_redist.x64.exe) components on a clean system.
With VC++ everything isntalls.

But gave an error crash-message window for Systemwide, while Systemwide window runs in the background.
The message could be clicked away and everything seemed to run fine. Until the next wakeup of the computer --> crash message again.

It seems the most recent versions of the plugins still can be installed, but v5.09 Systemwide is the last one working absolutely flawlessly (haven't tried v5.11).

 

Hi, here im using v5.12 just fine. Paused firewall, deleted sites recomended from R2R from host, installed v5.12 from soundid online installer, did the same instructions and block everything again. It works great, not even once desregistered. The only problem here as i said before, but it's not this method fault, is that latest keygen still not supporting virtual monitoring. Waiting for this feature be supported in a future keygen from the kings. Not sure why this is not working for you, did you follow all steps carefully including "only read" files?

 

Very carefully and I tried many options:
Start v5.12 after fresh install + quit; fresh install and restart first; install v5.12 after v5.09.
No matter what v5.12 always started the Crash report and the message box.
But I am happy with v5.09 anyway.

Has anyone measured if there are differences between the Reference 4 and Sound ID correction mechanisms?
I use my Reference 4 measurements and I do not remember, that the correction was that good. In Reference 4 I preferred no boosts and now, with the same old measurements, it nails the upper mids.
