    Exactly.
For my taste, people are always talking about scam a little too soon and too loudly these days just because a refund doesn't always go smoothly and is almost always more complicated than the order. But it's still not a scam.

However, these people are noticeably reluctant to correct the situation.
Because then they would have to say "I behaved like an idiot and am making amends to the offended party." :shalom:

What happened? They're probably doing you a favor, it's rare to get a refund after buying software. Of course I'm just speculating but I can't imagine any instance when it would be justified. You can't just decide you don't like software and demand your money back, that's what demos and trials are for.

Magix' online store offers an unconditional 14-day right of return. This also applies to the delivery of digital content(!). In this respect, this is not a favor, but a promised right. Take a look (Part B): https://www.magix.com/de/agb/

But I too think this is generous, because the right of return for many companies only applies to delivered goods, not to software or sample DVDs.

Don't forget where you are and who may be reading your post, ready to pounce... It depends on whether you really understand what a casual statement means. Since 2000 nobody understands what casual statements really mean. If you really understood what a casual statement means then you wouldn't bother making one... :hahaha:

It's a little late for that, they announced insolvency in March: https://www.soundonsound.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89968
    German: https://www.zri-online.de/aktuell/z...strukturierung-der-magix-software-gmbh-77646/

Maybe between this guy's $50 and R2R releasing Sequoia they will back in the black soon.

Well it crashes when you zoom into the audio that’s enough for me to ask for a refund that’s pretty pathetic especially when I’m working with one shots and I’m trying to trim and chop up beats I’m using

I've always seen Magix only as a seller of leftover unloved products from other manufacturers. Or does anyone know of a software program that was really from ground up by Magix?
For me whenever I heard Magix, any interest was immediately nipped in the bud.

The reason for Magix's decline is the competition with good, independent and inexpensive products and, secondly, a lack of own ideas. The "farm of mercy" they have cultivated simply no longer does the trick. New customers for oldfashioned partly even outdated software are hard to come by.

So it was a good idea to pay with paypal :like:
There are so many products to test for free on sister that you'll find better products easily. And when you've tested something you can buy it if you like it.
