Hi, I have the latest version of ShaperBox available for Mac, but every time I open it, it says the license has expired. In the installation folder, there was a file named 'Virtual Riot VR Shaper Box Presets (for v3.5.1) FXP,' but I’m not sure if that's the solution or how to install it.

 

That Virtual Riot thing has nothing to do with your Shaperbox install, so forget about that for now. You probably did not firewall the plugin, or your DAW application. You should reinstall, quickly let it download the noises content, and then block them again with your firewall. Then go edit your hosts file and edit it to block developer website there too. Don't hit the "Sync" button again. That is to synchronize your presets and noises content with the website. The second you do that it will go back to "expired" again.

 

I thought about it, but I didn’t even see the content download. I’ll try again. So, I need to install the .dmg file, then block ShaperBox and FL Studio with the firewall while the presets are downloading. After that, I should block the Cableguys website in the hosts file. Once that’s done, I can unblock ShaperBox and FL Studio in the firewall. And I should definitely not hit the "Sync" button, right?

 

block it after the presets download. You could block it, disable firewall, download, reenable firewall. Depends on your firewall what is easiest. But it has to connect to the server to download the presets.

 

I understand that, but the problem is that at no point do I see a download for the presets. As soon as I open it for the first time, it tells me that the license has expired. Is there no other solution like importing the presets?
