Simply Stated: the fact the content is yours, or if the subject in the photo or video is you, can be reason enough to process a takedown notice AND for the content to be taken down.

 

Why doesn't every plugin company get their stuff taken down then?

 

right ,i email them and make em aware , they should use dmca takedown request on az .
jokes aside even just a 1 min lasting post on topside will spread anyways .

 

There are so many potential answers to this I doubt anyone could adequately answer that - anything from

• Some do not care
• Some might be grateful for the free advertising because people are trying before they buy
• Some do not know their plugin has been redistributed
• Some might like that this site sometimes gives better critiques of what works well and what doesn't than many name sites - I have seen some plugins being called too resource heavy here. Funny how their next release is less resource heavy. Could be coincidence?

That's only a handful... the potential for ten times that many possibilities is huge.
