Packed with sonic gifts for Complextro, Dubstep, EDM, and Electro House producers: All of the screaming leads, aggressive wobbles, energetic arpeggios, and complex sequences are fully customizable, so producers can fine tune each tonal kick, oscillating bassline, catchy melody, and lush pad to their heart’s content. Charts beware: This one may burn you up!

    Personally? No thanks.

Honestly i do own purchased Vengeance samples packs, but not Nexus stuff.
    Reasons?
    1. Ilok
    2. Ilok.
    3. Romplers aren't enough flexible to me.
    4. Most of the sounds in "Commercial Electro" Nexus expansions, you can get from Spire's factory presets.

The only exception i would make when it comes about Ilok stuff, would be just for a daw like Cubase (only if i couldn't get the job done in my actual S1, which already suits my needs perfectly despite it's GUI lack.)

Reasons I don't own Nexus: I can get a Virus TI2 for the same price as the bundle. No thanks ReFX, learn to charge a fair amount of money. These guys are raping people.[IMG]

BTW Cata, is the first time i see the Spitfire testimonial, thanks to your signature field.
When it comes to Nexus's price... well... i guess they charge that money amount due to the sound processing they apply to their patches before "mounting" them into Nexus. Maybe if their sounds were raw, let's assume the price was lower [IMG]

Yeah man we're showing that AudioSex pride for our very own Andrew who was quoted from the Mural review he did. We're going to be putting AudioSex on the map in a big way this year and there will be so many exciting things coming your head will be left spinning. Suit up. [IMG]

Bro, I know your unit. Your unit is stereotype the Access Virus TI. You seem to neglect that the good old virus (i had the virus 1) is not more but a software synth with hardware trappings......... but no, you are to experienced to neglect that so i suppose that's not your point. Your point is that it takes much more effort and money to build a hardware unit. You are completely right. But it's just a question of supply and demand..... and the elicenser. Correct me but there is nothing comparable out there to nexus. And to be honest: Sometimes i wonder, i really wonder if ReFx copies the sound of the beatport charts or if the beatport charts consist of nexus sounds. Chicken and egg. And yes, nexus expansions are ridiculously overpriced. But show me an alternative

Don't get me wrong, I love Nexus, but there are programs that are way comparable out there, if not better outright. Omnisphere/Trillian and Camel Audio Alchemy come to mind just through the sheer fact that you can do so much with them. And though they are often geared more towards very instrumental sounds, the almost limitless library of Kontakt instruments is there as well.

I'm not saying that Nexus2 is bad in anyway, I've used it as a go-to instrument for many of my songs, but there are other instruments out there that arguably surpass Nexus by leaps and bounds. :dunno:

An alternative? take any softsynth and sampled instruments library, patch them and combine them in something like Blue Cat Audio Patchwork and DIY (Do it yourself) giving birth to even betters sounds than Nexus already have.
