I am a music producer who does a lot of film and pop music. I am looking to upgrade my pc.
I work with a lot of vsts, sometimes even upto a 100 VST tracks or more at once(mostly kontakt, omnisphere, etc).
I use cubase 13. Any good processor recommendation?
Is there a new dawbench results out? if so, which parameter should i look at in that?
    Thanks

I think one of the best you could try is "AMD Threadripper PRO 5975WX" some specifications are:
    Cores/Threads: 32 cores / 64 threads
    Base Clock: 3.6 GHz
Boost Clock: Up to 4.5 GHz

Of course, this may be overkill, but it’s a good long-term investment. Personally, I bought one so I don’t have to worry about the CPU ever again

not true at all, games primarily need powerful GPU (graphics card), you can literally use 10 years old CPU (processor) and it'll work fine in games, especially at higher than 1080p resolutions...
