I own SD3 and a few SDX expansions. Can I use a non-legit SDX with my legit SD3?

    Basically the title. I've dropped loads of money on SD3 and EZX/SDX packs, and I just don't feel like 100+ USD for a nearly 10 year old SDX is worth it.

    I'm wondering if I was to acquire an SDX through the sister site, what would the process for getting it to work with my fully updated, legit copy of SD3 look like? I've used Toontrack MIDI from the sister site that was just drag and drop to get running - are SDX packs roughly the same?

    The answer is no.for using paid expansion on legit SD3 you need to register each expansion which obviously it is not possible if you do not own them.the best solution is that you use non legit SD3 with your legit installed expansion plus what you need more from sister site.
