Take a break from music, I've been there. Here's some suggestions that worked for me:

1. Do regular intensive exercise (if you're healthy enough for that)
2. Read a few good books about sociology, science, even tech. Get new inspiration from knowing about some other micros and macros of this world that we share.
3. If you can't surround yourself with smarter people, explore GitHub (maybe not for everyone).

 

You don't have to leave her, you just have to make him BELIEVE you've left her!

Or what about a compromise? Arranging for a social worker to be present whenever the children are there. That way he can have no excuses!

 

hahaha. normally yes, but he has the leverage in this case
and hopefully with time, max's daughter will see his efforts

that would be tought. yesss, better than the alternative too.

Do You by any chance live a sheltered life safely hidden away from everyday events.
In today's real life it is simply not possible check the everyday news reports on violent crime, and you may now understand. Often heard News Interview Quote " I would have never have thought this possible, him killing his wife and children so brutally"

A fathers main responsibility, obligation and duty in life is to keep his family housed, fed, clothed, educated and safe from any form of harm. They are our heart, our treasures, our reason for life.

While i agree is a fathers responsibility to do all this stuff, as i see he has two options:
1. leave the house and the poisonous cobra with its family
2. be in the house with the poisonous cobra and its family
