hi
being a crysonic customer, i've received a month ago an ad featuring JamStrip, a brand new plugin onlyavailable to existing customers (the usual non sense from crysonic) for a mere 25$.
I paid using paypal and since then i receive every week or so, some BS saying that orders are treated following the date of purchase bla bla bla...but no download link ever showed up.

Am I the only one? I feel like this is some pure scam making people pay for a plugin still under development...

Crysonic is well known to be not-so-fair with customer support (and almost all of his products sucks imho)...

btw that gui is a punch in your eyes or its just me? C'mon it's a channel strip not a space craft. If it was some kind of creative effect maybe it was more appropriate...
Not as absurd as the latest aqua plug-ins by nebula but it's near (NeoConsole maybe? Worst gui ever. )

 

yes quite ugly, but more than that is the fact that nobody has ever heard about this plugin. Neither KVR nor anyone else. and no trace on their website. i checked the payment and it has been done to the same usual turkish name...
This seems fishy...

 

I think Crysonic hires 15 hipster graphic designers for every one programmer.

 

They said "It seems we have an issue with our mail server as we have sent out thousands of e-mails in the last week, we are updating to a new server and will send it as soon as possible, thanks again." So 25$ x a few thousands of succesful emails (if they were lucky enough) = they were able to afford alot of designers.

 

Crysonic = everything that is bad with plugin design and marketing.

 

Crysonic is the most successful scam artist company of the plugin world...the plugs dont do anything special or are referred to as overly usable and the ui design is just a lure for the gullible... *no*

(if this new plug turns out to be the sht then miracles still happen...) *yes*

 

Crysonic's reputation went down since a few years.
In the beginning they were featured in various sites and magazines.
But their reputation as spammers/scammers is well known since the
send out e-mail notifications on a monthly basis once they have your e-mail!

I don't mean that their products are false or non-existent.
But excuse me - you (Crysonic) seriously expect to find buying customers without
offering the correspondent demo/trial version to download without having to click
on dozens of other links or pages!!

 

No he doesn't expect so. He just expect to make money with the ads on those dozen of pages

shit...i hope you are wrong...
but imho some plugins are useful and sound good...otherwise i wouldn't have bought them...
plus, 25$ for the complete serie...even if you only use a single one...it's worth it.
I have almost all UAD plugins on my Octo board so i have everything i need regarding compressors, eq, reverbs etc...
I just look for weird plugins like camelspace or ubergate...
main reason i bought this serie in the first place ! :dancing:

 

Ah, they got you, too. I have the same exact story. They've been stringing me along since April 2nd. At one point they said they'd give me a refund if I didn't get a download link 'by Easter'. Still haven't heard from them.

 

Just to follow up on this...I filed a PayPal dispute and got a refund from the seller the next day. Their statute of limitations is only 45 days, so if you bought this around the time I did, time is running out!
