I don't think anyone can break down a door with bare hands (something that needs to change)

taking for granted this isn't a troll post, u maybe have never really been stuck in or out of somewhere u HAD to get in or out of w/ no other options to help u accomplish this then (phone/neighbor/etc).. or maybe u just don't know ur own strength or have ever been in a situation where you had to discover it.

i'm not particularly strong, 5'11" 165lb ish, but have found myself needing to get to the other side of a few doors in my life and have never failed to do so thus far.

one time was in my early college days. it was a standard interior home door. a few of my buddy's and myself had decided to partake in a particular recreational party favor of the stimulant variety one saturday evening and one of us accidentally locked the door to the bedroom where we were all going in and out of to partake, locking it in and us out. the point came where the door was getting open... period. and it would need to be done without a locksmith or the apartment maintenance guy due to what was laid out on the bedside table being a very illegal substance. i kicked the door twice right on the door knob and it flew right open. wasn't hard AT ALL. like surprisingly so.

the second was my front main entry door to my home. heavy solid core wooden door with a heavy duty dead bolt and knob lock, both locked at the time. basically as strong of a door as any you'll find on a modern home.. i shared this house with my gf. i was returning home after dropping her at the airport. she was going to be out of the state for a few weeks and i left my key inside the house when we left and she had her key with her currently heading 1000 miles away. there was no family or anything that had a spare and could run it over to help me out. and my dog was inside and would need to be fed etc. basically i had to get inside and i was gonna have to make it happen myself. i squared up and kicked the ever living shit out of the door right above the knob as hard as i could. it took several full-on kicks but it finally busted open. the door jamb blew apart and wood flew everywhere. it wasn't easy but i would say nearly any able bodied adult could do it.

u just have to look at a door for what it is, material wise. a door isn't some kind of force field that can only be bypassed in the intended way (with a key). most are just cheap flimsy hollow garbage that you could literally punch a hole through.

Just leave a spare handle in those rooms where you think you could have this problem. Some months ago I was doing my house renovation and I didn't install all the new doors handles. In one room I only inserted a handle on the outside of the room to be able to open it. I went inside that room and I closed the door. One second later I was stuck in the room without a way to go out: the room was empty and I couldn't use anything to insert in the door handle hole to open it (there was the bar from the outside handle but it's impossible to turn it with bare hands). Luckily I teached my dog (a female cane corso) to open doors since she was a puppy, so I called her and told her to open the door and at the second attempt she opened it: what a champion (her)!

I only really close doors when there are other people around that might open them

It happened once to me that I was locked inside my bedroom closet door which is also my safe room. After the 12th day I knew that I had very little time left. The water was all gone and the few bags of dehydrated food I had was finished by day four. I hadn't drank any liquid beside my own urine that I was catching in my old helmet from when I was a kid playing Pop Warner football for the last five days and now my lips were completely dried out and I no longer was able to pee (my ex-wife always told me to "get rid of that fucking thing" because it just took up space and am glad I never succumbed to her rant). The room stank from my own feces and I finally gave up hope that someone would find me. The interesting thing to me was that I couldn't any longer feel my body so that agonizing and deep hurt was now just like a nightmare that I had awoken from. I died a painless though lonely death in the room that was actually supposed to save my life. How ironic!

'If there's a stuck door in front of you, go through it, go under it, go around it. But get to the other side of that door'.

Of course, it's easier if you have a screw loose.

This was obviously written by a ghost writer. How much did you pay yourself?

in eu this can only happen when the tiny locking screw is off and you pull the handle from the wrong site off and then pushing the handle with the
Square iron completly out while trying to push the handle without the square iron on the handle with the square iron .so in this case act very patient and
    cautious .
in most cases you can kick in indoor doors , at least you not a millionaire and can afford real doors made by a real
    joiner handwerker .
