What's the question? Is this a statement of some sort? If you need to remove the extra copy - what's stopping you? If you need to load two instances, dragging in the NKI twice works fine. Or double clicking twice in the Kontakt file browser.

Maybe loading two of them when Kontakt is opened, but this is obviously just a guess based on a screenshot with no comments.

It's probably just a duplicate entry in ServiceCenter.xml. Or something equally simple to figure out, if some basic information was given.

Is this a problem or a tip?

One instance is ALL CAPS, the other isnt.. perhaps you have a duplicate in your scanned/library folder(s), or something? Just guessing..

I had this happen to me a while ago, though it was with kontakt 6. I had multiple libraries that somehow appeared 2 times in my kontakt. However, I had so many libs that I did not notice it. Then I tried to remove one, but the problem was that the kontakt actually saw them as 2 seperate libraries, because if the one was missing that I was using in a project/song, then it would not simply replace it with the other as it somehow saw the other liberary as another (based on its actions at least). I did not know how to solve it, so I just deleted the whole channel in some projects that used these 5 or so libraries that had appeared in kontakt 2 times and just copied over the event/notes. It's such a hassle when kontakt has issues finding a library, because it essentially stops loading the rest of hte libraries that it can find.

The problem with kontakt is also that the way it handles missing libraries is so frustrating because it bascially stops loading until you found the library back OR you have to click ' ignore' but then it stops loading any kontakt library that it would load after that one too and basically half your instruments are missing too then. So if anyone knows how to prevent this (so if anyone knows how to prevent that..)

If you look into the registry, do you see that library listed twice?

edit: if you don’t know how to, type regedit (assuming you’re on windows) and go to HKEY_local_machine -> software -> native instruments.
Don’t only look for Westwood, look also for alt piano.
