Is this really the best we can do? Recently they've placed a giant obnoxious popup ad blocking the download button, so now you've got to deal with 6+ popups for each download. Not including the ads. I'm also using adblock, can't imagine how much worse it would be without it. They might as well just give me the finger and tell me to f myself while they're at it.

There are also plenty of posts about Katfile scamming their customers and various fraudulent behavior.

They're also the worst when it comes to Recaptcha abuse. I've never had to suffer through so many of those cursed puzzles anywhere else on the web.

Rapidgator has its own set of problems but at least they don't abuse their customers like this.

I appreciate all the hard work the suppliers do, don't get me wrong. I just feel like any other option would be better because as of now Katfile is unusable.

New Here! I've been lurking around for a bit, but I finally folded today and made an account so I could join in on the fun. Honestly, people here are pretty funny, sarcastic, friendly and helpful and it's been a blast so far

As for Katfile, I feel you on the frustration. The popups had made downloads a miserable experience. Please try U-Block Origin! It's a game-changer. Been using it for the last 10 Months now. It’s an open-source ad blocker that works even in incognito mode and blocks a ton of those shitty ads and popups. It’s super effective and might be just what you need to make Katfile usable again.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot. It’s free!

 

Use free JD2 and let it deal with these problems. I usually have one captcha, rarely two and no popups at all.

 

Why not go with AllDebrid? Multiple file hosts supported (including Katfile) which I never have any issues with... Lightning fast downloads no silly captcha/pop-ups or anything like that, and if Katfile is down just load up a Rapidgator link or whatever else is provided by the uploader.

 

Not everybody can afford stuff no matter the cost.

 

if things starting to cause problem that worth bitching about, 10 cent (9 Euro for 90 days - Real Debrid) a day can never be bad. How is it that hard to understand all those captcha, waiting time and whatnot werent designed to see if you're human or not, it's clearly to annoy people until they subscribed (or post on a forum about it).

 

I had issues with it not working at all for awhile,I'd wait the countdown,do the captcha and it would just fail and give a web error. However, recently I just made a free acct and login first and I use adblock haven't had any issues. Jdownloader also isn't a bad idea if youre nabbing things that are multi part

That's how companies like that make money, which they need to do in order for all this to work.

You can copy the links to Deepbrid, it gives you a certain number of links from Katfile, under a certain file size, per day free, with minimal wait time between them.

 

But Katfile in alldebrid has limits (about 3gb per day) Rapidgator still better

If you use a VPN... on the second free download, Katfile tries to send you an endless series of capchas (is his way of telling you: Buy a subscription).
If you can... support Katfile and our kind uploaders.

For me, instead, the worst is Nitro which downloads at 10/15k (as a free user). Practically unusable!

Humanity peaked in the late 1990s, when everything was on uncapped public FTPs in universities' basements.

 

Recaptcha fuckery is Google's problem, on the other hand with so much bot traffic, you can't really blame websites for using spam/bot prevention systems

Question my friend, it is worth to become a premium user of JD2? When I need a big download task, I tend to pay Real Debrid. Do you see any advantages to premium JD2 in your experience?
