    I just realized ALL presets shared on "sister site" are tagged as "MW2" into Xenia browser ... there is not a single one tagged as "XT".
    I don't understand ... even the factory ones are seen as MW2.

    the XT has just more hardware controls on the panel than the MW2, so its basically a MW2, hence there are no tags for the XT.
    MW1 presets can be imported into the emu, which is stated in the manual of the mwxt.

    sometimes its very helpful to really study the manuals.

    There's a fair bit of presets (factory sets etc.) on Waldorf's download page for XT.

    I'm not actually sure if those were bundled with the download on the sister site, but just in case.

    Lots of hardware synths just expanded upon the prior versions architecture and Midi Implementation. They are usually backwards compatible, but not always forward compatible. It's just system exclusive, which is why they can have 10K synths data in something like Midiquest editor librarian software. It's kind of interesting to me that the MicroQ emulator Vavra runs less nicely than this one does. (for me anyway).
