I am planning to start drum and guitar classes this summer. It will be for a very short period of time. So I want a beginner's drumming guide (preferably in PDF) so that I can take printouts and give it to my students for reference. Just want the Beginner's stuff! *yes*

Maybe you could project them in class & or work from them?

There's quite a few (in fact a lot) pdf drum lesson articles found via google.

I found these - all on page 1&2 of a google search, I stopped looking after that there were so many - you'll have to download them and see which is relevant/suitable.
See the "Multiple free drum lesson books" link as there were some very promising looking Drum Lessons for Beginners pdf's there also & being free you maybe ok printing them to hand out without copyright issues.(?)

This site looked good if you were'nt thinking drum kit but drums/drumming as a whole (bongo's, djembe etc).
He also encourages printing his pdf's and I'd imagine wouldn't mind you sharing his lessons (with a courtesy email.)

There's so many - just do a simple google search with "drum tutorial pdf" (as I did.

 

It's fine, i actually bended my eyes over his topic so fast that i couldn't define in the first read if he means about playing, sequencing, recording or mixing.
Anyway, good suggestions.

 

I remember that on a tutorial about drum programming the dude was going on about the little booklet for snare drummers, used by pretty much all the drummers. It was published by Percussive Arts Society, and of course, applicable to the full drum set. I just found interesting website where all the 40 rudiments are explained, together with video demonstrations. Should be more than enough for a couple of years of practice.
