I currently have 7.9.0. How would I go about updating this version? Would I just run this installer for 7.10 after I download it?

Or should I remove 7.9.0 before running this installer? Is there any specific way I should uninstall 7.9.0? I have a bunch of libraries. I just want to make sure I transition to the update correctly. Any help or instruction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Assuming you're on winPC - the last few version updates done to kontakt were from 7.10 to 7.10.1 to 7.10.5. They were all just applied over the top of the current versions... they were all BobD versions as well. Everything working fine.
Dunno how it would work installing a R2R over the top of a bobD or V.R. etc.. Best keep them the same...

 

I'm on MacOS. This is the version I have and I just got MORIA's latest drop 7.10.6. Could I just install it on top? I'm not familiar with who is who. Who is MORIA with?

why do you need this update? the kontakt interface is so bad.. this button that button.. switching takes time with the instrument browser

There's a library that I would like to test out to see if I like it or not. It requires 7.10 or higher. That is the reason for trying to update. If it worked on 7.9 I would have just stayed where I was at. Im not a huge fan of updating, but it is what it is.
