Note to folks that are suffering, be aware that there are other sources if you're desperate for something.

But it's not like every now and then a site goes down, sometimes even major ones. I always get wry amusement out of the times when something like Facebook, or god forbid, Twitter goes down.

Weird to see that life and also music production still goes along. Stay strong folks! (if my tongue was further in my cheek I'd be arrested)

install HostsFileEditorSetup-1.2.0.msi

After install

To Enter a site in the hostfile
insert details in each columm the image below
goto file
save

To Block a site uncheck the tick in the box
go to file
save

use the same link you would normally use in your browser to access the sister site after you complete the host file edit

 

I must confess. It was me who broke the site when I plugged the coffee machine in at the same time as downloading Orchestral Tools Berlin Strings and the fuse blew. I apologize and as soon as I can find the replacement in the junk drawer in my studio I'll get right on it. Until then....

I changed host fil last time this DNS fu*k up happened and forgot to change it back.So everything works for me.
Sometimes a bad memory is not bad.
