Arturia X - Custom install location?

    This question has probably already been answered in another post, but I couldn't find it..

    Are there any way that I can have Arturia installed on another partition (or drive) other than the system (C: Drive) in Windows? - The installer doesn't let you choose a location, and it just installs 30 gigs on the C-Drive? - Are there any workarounds to this "problem"? (scripts, bat-files or custom installers?)

    VR installers can help you with automatically creating symlinks to desired location

    There are a number of these little scripts and utility apps for this, here's one: https://github.com/amd989/Symlinker

    I think you can sometimes be better off installing some big thing like that to whatever default location it wants. Then move all the data to your external and point the already working plugin at it after initial installation. I've had problems with Omnisphere before, when installing directly to an external.
