The previous patch broke unpacking of containers of old (RAS2) libraries.

 

regarding nkx unpacking:
I can't unpack strikeforce 2, and heavyocity analog hybrid drums using known tools
seems like some newer releases changed the encryption earlier this year

if someone could suggest a solution - that would be greatly appreciated

This and the previous version do not properly unpack some forbidden characters (read the UNIX filenames: entry in the readme). For example, the ▢ character

they have all OS and it is an open source.

extract the inNKX.7z somewhere (here in the plugins WCF folder of the pc portable version).


now it need to go in options to add the plugin (seek the inNKX.wcx64)
and add one by one the extensions to be taken. nicnt, nkx, nkr... +nks if needed)


when done you can extract and repack (need to use the original folder structure, as seen when unpacking)


the tuto is unpack original and watch how it is packed, to rebuild as the original. (compress as, nicnt, nkr, nkx...)
the boring part is the [pipe] name (the folders name) in the extracted PAResources
the cool batch rename function enable to delete the prefix faster for images and meta files.

it works basically as total commander.
