Yeah, what funkdialout has done is nothing short of amazing. He's basically shared all the paid captures that are worth owning. It's so generous of him.

 

I def appreciate your kind words, but there is also a lot of folks in the group who are generously & anonymously donating packs without being asked or required, and they are a huge part of what keeps this going. I think if it were just myself purchasing it would get old real quick, but there are quite a few folks that are stepping up.

Also, I really dig being able to give something back to the community here that I've leeched from for years and years, but yeah appreciate all the gratitude.

Also, Update #11 is being compiled and I already have had 2 new packs donated overnight, so may not be too long before I am publishing it too!

You were totaly right funkdialout. Those Princeton caputures kick some major ass. Presets with Steel Singer pedal baked in, as well the ones marked with Dude, sound terrific with ceramic humbucker and some plate reverb. It's a proper Fender overdriven tone. The feeling under the fingers when I play is just so natural when I find the right profile. I can't believe that Tonex sound more amp-like to me than many times more expensive hardware counterparts.

Ok, I think I have added everyone that has asked, or have provided you with process to join if you are new. Tried to make it as easy as possible. Please let me know through a PM if I missed you.

Also, I do appreciate the offers to contribute $ but I cannot accept. If you would like to pool money with another member and buy a pack that's cool, but I don't want to add managing money donations and the expectations or risk that can bring.

Be kind to yourselves and one another, enjoy the packs, donate (only if it is not a struggle, there is no obligation) and that's all I need. If anyone needs me hit me up in PM.

 

Unzip. Open Tonex and folders. Ctrl-A and drag and drop into Tonex browser. Won't work if there's a pdf or IR, deselect those.
Although, one by one might be a better way to go, since I have almost 8000 captures in there now lol. Audition then either keep or delete.
Reducing input gain works a lot better than increasing it.

 

You can also in Tonex click in the text field and a small menu pops up, choose import.



Then when the window opens go to whatever directory has your captures. You can choose the folder that holds all your captures, or the vendor folder, or the pack folder, but when you drill down to what you want then in the search bar at the upper right type in *.txp then Ctrl-A to select all. Then finally Open.



This allows you to import as many as you want at once time, it does take a while though. If there are duplicates you will have to click yes or no for each duplicate. I have imported as many as 10k at once this way, that took about 10mins though.

 

Whoa, why didn't I think of that? No more opening each folder lol.
I really wish right click/ properties/ open with/Tonex would work, but it doesn't.

Has anybody updated Tonex yet and can confirm everything is still working?

I mean that I started with a legit Tonex CS account which I then applied the keygen to make it Max, which I have to do every time I update Tonex. Just wondering how long that's going to keep working.
Edit... keygen makes Tonex itself Max, as far as model limits. Not your account. There is still nothing you can do when you phone home to Tone.net.
