I can't believe no one mentioned "Pulp Fiction" or "Snatch" or "Jackie Brown" or any of these kinda movies, yet.

"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is a cool movie, too. Especially the scene, when after the chase he gets outta
the car with the can of beer still in his hands. "Taxi Driver" is cool, too. And "Full Metal Jacket" is another one
from the list that I have watched. I have never heard a word about the other ones.

I had planned to add more favorites like Brazil and Ugly, Dirty And Bad (Brutti, sporchi e cattivi) but I had to give up on following this thread.

I suggest too to "throw an eye" to some israelians movies (not the ones financed by the pro-israelians institutions of course !!! Be caferul , it's not so much a question of propaganda but simply a question of ethics if you have a certain opinion on this interminable conflict of course )

NB : i don't hate hollywood and americans movies but as they literally flood the "market" (culture and commercial value...), i though it could be interesting to get differences too.

NB : i need to say i'm literally sick of our actual french cinema : ( Too gentry, too superficial, completely stupid and useless, we have to select a lot to discover great ones, that's why i gave older references - shame - ..

But there really are some good ones. I'd recommend "Kidnapped" ("...or is it actually a Thriller?").
That's a good Spanish movie without a happy end.
