whats the point? rick saying the top 10 sucks or pop music sucks not all music sucks he literally talks about having great musicans on the show, surely he doesnt think they suck too? ricks statment is on trending music not "music" as a whole, im not sure how you missed that point.

 

it is not a live clip. she is lip syncing to her performance. many youtubers and tiktokers do it.

 

I think Rick-o would like that.
Both versions show the common dramatic bang-in (as opposed to slow build) and that adds impact.
The lyrics, even when many slip past, evoke the mood well.
I found the original video a bit distracting, and liked the girl's vocals better.
The mix with her voice makes a nice effect - I am not sure I've heard the exact way they mesh before.

The way her voice gets lost a bit and then blooms reminds me of the way the female vocals seem to bloom in in this cover of Starlight: ( I know much of this is her own skill, but the levels are right to achieve it, too.

Exactly he always mention good guitarist,drummers,bassist, well MUSICIANS THAT PLAYS INSTRUMENTS and of course bands that has good songs
And if he get a chance he interview them.
And what is common is that they all can play instruments and sing they dont need to USE AUTOTUNE.
Its the music made with a computer and a person that cant sing so they have to autotune it and exactly everything in the song has been done before except the lyrics.

 

It's so comical that this cheesy, badly auto-tuned and boring cover has 900% more views than the original song (which is beautiful), says a lot about social media.

Rick Beato is very knowledgeable in music theory. That`s all. beside that he is a self-consumed self-entitled grumpy old idiot. And a buttlicking smeary fanboy if he does "interviews" with "heroes". Look at his meeting with Joni Mitchell: she was that relieved when Beato disappeard back into his old-man-cave. I felt her pain being with that ****. I thought with the disappearance of Pensado the world would be slightly better off ... but no ... appearance Rick Beato. Sigh.

 

I'm not sure what the two versions have to do with Beato' s opinion of them. If I looked that up, he would be winning.

I think she sounds very good. "one of" the best?, if by best, you mean including thousands or millions of other tracks. i like the original version better, at least at first listen. I think I may recognize the song from hearing it once or twice before, but not on purpose.
