They are all still available from websites without someone having to re-up 10 gig worth of files.

 

Very true, and there's a torrent as well (for those so inclined). So yeah, shouldn't be a problem.

 

Yooooo is this still available? I'm tryna recreate a sound from the Logic X Pro mellow chime preset, but i keeps saying I'm missing samples!

It's been a long time since i installed it but it worked great.

Alchemy Full v1.55 will crash when scanning presets, so always use the "Player" or the 32-bit version to scan.
Rename the DLLs to make it easy to choose which one to use.
("Alchemy Full.DLL" & "Alchemy Scan.DLL" would be a clear indicator)

Make sure the two shortcuts in VST directory "AlchemyData" & "Alchemy Configuration" point to the correct location of your data hdd choice. If this is not done then AlchemyLog.txt will be generated in the default location.

Player version will create "C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\Alchemy\",
with the following files:
-Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags
-Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags.bak
-AlchemyConfig.txt
(Installs reset the Library paths in "AlchemyConfig.txt", so always check after install.)

To reset the database you can delete the following and rescan:
- Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags
- Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags.bak

They all work in the 32bit version without issues.
So i have moved all relevant files to a folder with customised image.
If you need or find it helpful first remove any old "Cameleon Remixed" folders and just download this

and put the folders into your presets folder "Camel Audio\Alchemy\Presets"

The Download contains two folders:
Cameleon Remixed <--All presets in this folder works with the 64 bit version
Cameleon Remix 32bit <--Only for use with 32bit version of the plugin.
Note all other banks work fine on 64bit.
