Thanks a lot. His cat is stable now; it underwent a successful kidney surgery but still requires constant care. I'm hoping for the best; he's a nice lad as you can see here:

Aw, cute guy... I hope he's not in a lot of pain and everything works out... I have a very large bengal cat myself who is a load of work and energy, and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for him, as he saved my ass too...
