How to fix this error when updating Superior Drummer 3?

    I am trying to update to the latest version of Superior Drummer 3 (3.3.6) and I get this error along with a couple more similar. How do I fix it?

    Have you checked that this folder exists?

    C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\Superior2

    If your Windows is not English:
    %PROGRAMDATA%\Toontrack\Superior2

    The programdata folder is hidden, so you should check the file explorer->view->options->view tab->show hidden files. folders etc
    Also, be sure to run the SDrummer installer as Admin

    yes I did the folder exists but this is the error I get when clicking into it. Any idea?

    Seems it's a symlink folder. Probably the origin (or destination, depends on how you think of it) of the symlink has been moved or deleted
    What happens when double click on Superior2? I assume that window,

    So you have moved/deleted the "real" Superior2 folder. Perhaps you created the symlink to move the gigas to another drive.

    Ya that window is what I was getting. But My common sense kicked in and I deleted the existing Superior2 folder and just created a new one. Problem solved. Thanks!

    You're welcome, but actually you solved it yourself.
    I was more worried about the possibility of the libraries being in that "lost" folder, which probably isn't the case. I use EZDrummer but not SDrummer
    Other than that the nice VR Toontrack releases cover everything so rock on :wink:
