Has anybody ever connected with the people that really like your music, beyond 'that's nice'. Like proper hardcore fans? The people who are totally on your wavelength? I'm wondering how do you know where your people will be. Like if you make mainstream pop you might be putting that on TikTok, I don't know. But in that case, how did you go about connecting with people? Getting them to listen in the first place?
My mom don't like my music, when I play it to grandma she says it's trash. I think the real fans of my music are neighbour dog and dead fly on my window.
