I see. My best guess for ElMareno is ask on Discord. My go-to is always cross swapping everything to narrow the issue down. Fortunately I never had any issues on Catalina of that type, but also don't have 32 bit plugins. Altiverb would be neat, but whatever.

 

Infos: Unfortunately no other DAW (Studio One 4, REAPER, FL Studio 20, Ableton Live 9) was able to load OsTIrus AU so 'the problem' is the plug.

Yes, I should try to install High Sierra... but I'm afraid: I use a pay-as-you-go connection (via Smartphone) and I am not always able to download smoothly. Unfortunately, if something went wrong - where I live - I don't have an Apple center nearby to solve the problem and I would be disconnected with the Mac blocked for who knows how long.

On the other hand, Osirus & Vavra work well so I always think about solving a single/simple plug than upgrading Sierra...

The problem is solved on High sierra bro
open terminal then type that :
sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/OsTIrus.component

Do you know if ripped Roms can be buggy or are they either 100% working or not at all?

Exactly the kind of sounds i couldn't really get with other Waldorf virtual synths (Komplexer, Largo, micro Q emu Vavra ...).
I don't know why.

No, shared ROMs are not buggy.
The emulator can be, in itself.
And some bugs may not have been solved by original maker on the ROM.
It is not related to ROM capture itself.

I am impressed by the sound/performance ratio of this emulator, especially in multi mode.
I'm on Win10, Studio One, 5 OsTirus instruments, 2 with Osirus and one with Vavra.
CPU at 20%.

XT can load Microwave 1 and 2 presets ?
I found only few XT soundbanks ... too bad because it is hard to program.
