I'm having a unique issue. I just got a Windows 11 laptop and I'm trying to install Studio One but my entire Machine ID won't fit into the keygen so I can create licenses that will work. When I paste what can fit, it'll create licenses but none of them work during activation. I already have the presonus entries added in my host file.

My Machine ID has a total of 32 characters including dashes, the field only allows 19 characters. Even if I remove the 4 dashes, it still won't fit.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

 

i'm not on windows or using s1, so if this doesn't help continue waiting for someone who is. Sometimes when you get a keygen with dropdown menus for more than one software, when you first run it it will not be set to the correct option in the dropdown. Hundreds of people have used their 6.6 keygen already, so it is some detail like this you are doing incorrectly.

From R2R:
1.Install StudioOne.
2.Run StudioOne.
Close login window and start offline authorization.
There is the machine ID, just copy and paste to keygen.

 

You're getting the wrong ID. Run Studio One, start offline activation and the Machine ID will show there. Copy and paste into the keygen and there you go.

 

machine ID - it is the name of your PC.
for you - it is a "Device name".

Okay, I just did that and it's still not working.

 

***CORRECTION*** I just figured it out. Nothing in the instructions says I needed to change the Computer Name to MY actual Computer Name. The instructions were confusing, asking for a Machine ID instead of just stating "Enter the code from Studio One here" *sigh*
