Anyone know of any workarounds?

And if not, I would really appreciate if someone could explain how to run cracked Kontakt ALONGSIDE legit Kontakt with no issues... I KNOW this can be done but I don't know how.

 

What gives you any idea it would now be possible somehow? I mean you can download some library that costs something, or copy it from someone and register/use it for free with a legit Kontakt? Just repeat this a few times in your head until you have a eureka moment.

Simply not possible unless Kontakt is cracked to not care about library registrations, or you have a registration for a library. And that's quite logical. Isn't it?

Any chance you could read the second sentence of my post? Would be very grateful as I am not a Kontakt library expert, despite the fact that I have been using it as a sampler for 6 years (for drums).

 

I managed to do it just fine with Ableton as they allow for "another" VST folder, and that's where I put my k'd Kontakt, and had my legit in my other main plugin folder...

 

KLU might help with this a lot, but not with the legal vs cracked snafu. For everything else on Mac, it is as good as it gets.

which k’ed version are you using ? i can’t seem to have my legit komplete 14 instruments and unlicensed instruments working together on 7. the unlicensed ones say demo

 

That was on my older system and running Kontakt 5.... now I am running just k'd Kontakt 7 (HCiSO) though own legit NI Ultimate or whatever, as I don't need all their nonsense, and only use Kontakt for the most part out of their package now....since things like Absynth and whatnot are becoming abandonware etc... I think I installed the new Guitar Rig, but uninstalled it I believe as never used it really... it might still be there, will have to check.
