So I did everything. Removed every single grain of Waves Existing and downloaded it. I followed every instruction, I was a bit confused as to replacing the files ‘index.js’ and ‘app.asar’ from the ‘COSMOS’ folder inside Waves Folder but there was no folder like that. Upon researching, I found out it was an App from Waves Central which I then installed and started to follow the steps (while having internet connection off before opening waves central). I still cannot understand why is it in demo mode. I’ve done so many steps and so many tries and I cannot find a solution to this. Pls if anyone can help me I beg you.

 

1.Install what you want from Waves Central [from official website].
2.Quit Waves Central -- Generate License R2R from Last_Used_Address -- Patch the License & Bundle
3.Restart & See if everything works [which it does & their is no need to download the complete bundle from the releases. You only need the patched Bundle & Keygen.
4.Clean up Waves Launch Agents [Login Items in Settings] -- Remove everything other than Data & Plugin V14 folder from Waves [Applications] -- Uninstall Waves Central -- Clean up Waves Application Support folder [delete the central & local server folder & other stuff you don't need] -- Clean up Waves Application Support in Users folder too.
5.Delete duplicates like the Avid folder, Au, Vst2 & common ones [Plugins & Application Support] -- Keep only VST3 Waveshell Bundles.

 

Step 4 & 5 are optional & just for optimization.

 

The instructions for installing k'd Waves plugins have always been hit-or-miss. I'm still on intel Mac, so I cannot check any steps personally. Here is a posted instructions from someone with your problem. It is using the Waves Ultimate 14 04.03.24 release to start with. Use Crossover for the keygen like normal.

I had a hard time but I finally figure it out... here is what I did. MacBook M1 Vendetta 13.3.1
you need the latest RET Crack too
1. Go to 1- Installer folder and Install Waves Central and Run.
1a. Run Waves Central with Root if your installation is stuck by pasteing the following code in terminal (Waves Central will open as root after typing your password)
Terminal Code:
sudo /Applications/Waves\ Central.app/Contents/MacOS/Waves\ Central
2.Uninstall previous versions and run Fix Permissions from Waves Central Settings and Login to Waves (If you want Studio Verse). (Backup Presets and other data if needed)
3. Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
4. Browse the Waves folder you downloaded (Inside : 1 - Installer)
5. Select any plugins and applications and select Install (Uncheck SD/HD)
6. Apply patch
6a. (With the RET release)
Replace "WavesLicenseEngine" (with the license from the Keygen.exe so you need a pc and your Mac computer id from the Waves app) in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/
Codesign WavesLicenseEngine.bundle if it's required.
Replace "index.js" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/
Replace "app.asar" in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/
7. Reboot
8. Run AU reg Utility from Applications/Waves
10. Try this in terminal : sudo xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

These are the old instructions. I find it best to Install stuff from Official Waves Central & just use the Patch & Keygen.

I did it, and it didn’t work. I believe I’m doing something wrong with the Keygen file, the txt file simply says me generate and place.wle license in waves folder from application support in license folder but the problem is I’m just adding the file instead of replacing it with anything. The instructions are messy about it. The reason I’m doing a new crack is because I messed up and confused my system with V12 and V14 crack but I fixed that. Do you guys have crack for V12 mac? Because it flawlessly worked for me and also the Utility Tool to Downloading WavesLicense.pkg worked. I believe I downloaded it from 4downloads(formerly) but it’s not in their site anymore. Guys if you can help me on this, I would love it

 

I'm not saying they don't work. I just find it better to install stuff from official source as per my need instead of installing the complete ultimate bundle.

 

Did you Put the License file in it's place & you have to go inside the bundle file & replace the patched file. Then Codesign it. Restart here. It should work.

 

Yes I did replace the license file inside the bundle file and it didn’t work. The plugins still open in demo. Followed the instructions and also put the keygen file I created from the R2R inside the license folder

 

You must be using old patch. Get the 2024.02.11 one [The one that's Patch & Keygen only]

 

OMG Update, I don't know what I did but I put some files in trash and rearranged it. Heard that for some people, when running Logic Pro in rosetta, it worked so I did that and it was working!!, but I was a bit disappointed because I don't like running logic in rosetta at all, BUT TURNS OUT when I ran it natively. It opened the plugin and didn't ask for license or anything and ran as it should!!! IM SO HAPPY and thank you for your assistance !

 

Users report this sometimes about apps that do not authorize correctly when run Natively. (not just Waves). They run the plugin in Rosetta and it works for them. Then they switch back to running it Natively, and it will work there too. But only after running once in Rosetta.

It's probably something due to the program having two sets of instructions. (not the installation instructions, but the programming).

 

How do you codesign a file?

I downloaded this. Don’t know how to “Put the License file in its place & you have to go inside the bundle file & replace the patched file. Then Codesign it.” I’ve got the AU Reg patch but all still in demo.

The license file has to be generated using your ID that you get from Waves Central using R2R keygen.

 

Sorry please could you help me explain how I go about that? Not sure what to do next, I’m not familiar with how to get R2R keygen. Nothing like that in the zip file.

It's on the sister site. There a Waves keygen only release, get that. Use the ID waves wentral provides to generate the license file using R2R keygen.
