Dear all,
I don't know why in my cracked Nexus 4 macOS some sounds of the same expansion work and others do not.

Here is an example from expansion melodic techno 2 where this preset won't load:



And this one, yes:




Any idea? and this is through for other presets in other expansions.

They are working for me on Win10.
Keep in mind to check the info folder for important info.
I don't know if this could cause what you are talking about, but:
(from the information)

(For those that have reFX blocked in their hosts file)

Do the steps below in order to have the expansions
show under the Expansions tab and not the Folder tab.
Aswell as to have the preset tags and Expansion image showing.

.Copy the Melodic_Techno_2.svg and paste it to
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\reFX\cloud\cache\images folder

.Copy the content_properties.json and tags.csv files then paste them to
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\reFX\NEXUS folder (replace)

The content_properties.json and tags.csv files contain the data
for all the Nexus 2, 3 & 4 expansions that has been shared so far.

Alternatively unblock reFX from your hosts file, load Nexus 4
and the data will be pulled from the server & added to the
content_properties.json and tags.csv files. Then re-block reFX in your hosts file.

So I did all you said (substituting files) and even remove ReFx from host file, load N4 in logic pro X allowing incoming connection from firewall, but still the same error.

 

Weird.
I just downloaded and installed that pack, so it seems the download is OK.
I wonder if you could open Nexus with another host to check it.
I LOVE to use SaviHost for this. (I sent a PM about this).

Maybe your download somehow got corrupted?

I forgot to install this one XP also. Melodic Techno 2. Once installed I can check it in Logic 10.4.

 

I have the same problem with some presets too..It may couse the problem the expansion it self
