Hey guys!

Just loaded and installed Omnisphere.
It runs with the factory presets in the DAW.

When i now try to install the extensions (Nylon Sky, Seismic Shock, Bob Moog etc) it gives me the message "Insert Spectrasonics Omnisphere then click Ok. Press Cancel to terminate the entire installation process."

It pop's up when i start the installer for the extension.

 

Ah okey, i think also did this on my mac back then.

I've tried various packs and they all say the same thing once I run the installer:
"An error occurred while trying to read the source file. The system cannot find the path specified"
Then I'm forced to abort.

I've tried copying the Sonic Extensions folder to my STEAM folder, then reinstalling, but still no luck.

Anyone know how to fix this problem? I really wanna use these sounds.

I'm on windows 11, brand new PC and my Omnisphere has the latest updates.

I've even tried this on my older windows 10 laptop and the same thing occurs.

 

Manually copy the files to your Steam folder.

Guys at first install the library then copy all the folders to the STEAM where the installation created the folders. If you have opened DAW as I had close it and reopen DAW then Reload Omnisphere and the libarary is detected and you will see it! It works thaaaaanks!!!

Thank you I finally got it to work, I copied the Sonic Extensions folder to STEAM like I did many times before but this time I DIDN'T run the installer. I just went straight to my DAW and opened Omnisphere. It instantly recognized the extensions and they play perfectly.

To anyone reading this in the future, just copy the data to your STEAM folder and forget the installer. The installer doesn't work!

When I want to install, Windows does not allow me to install and blocks the app. I replaced the files manually
Then I cracked Omnisphere again with keygen r2r, but it gives this warning effect
My Omnisphere software 2.8.5e

 

Looks like this one has a .exe installer. If you can, find the installer with the .omnisphere extension. Those always worked for me. You have probably installed it correctly. There would be other warnings, if the files weren't copied/merged in the right place. This seems to be about a bad license or something.

 

I was able to fix this, the problem was due to Windows security, which did not allow the installation file to open and blocked it.(Windows Security does not mean a virus, I meant that it said that the publisher of this file is unknown)
I turned off all Windows security, there was even an option in the Windows settings that confirmed the installation of the software, I also disabled it so that I could activate and install the setup file.
After installation, everything was fixed

 

Ok, good. I never saw that error message. This Data Prevention thing of Windows can get in the way with a lot of things like keygens.
