I haven't been here for long but I like the fact that Audiosex seems to be a much more stable, humorous, and helpful group than the likes of Reddit (at least from my experiences haha).

I don't have much to offer but I wanted to share a project I worked on with the forum and I think some of you might enjoy it.

I created a preset pack of 72 preset for the amazing and underrated synth Invader 2 by E-Phonic. Warm retro analog synth style sounds probably best for retro house, synthwave, chillout, etc.

I'm really proud of what I was able to create and I wanted to share it with the forum for free. Thank you! That means a lot to me. I really tried to put a lot of care into these and push the synth's capabilities. It's such a great sounding synth that doesn't get enough appreciation.

I sent them to the developer at E-Phonic (PJ I believe) and he said he liked them too which was very rewarding. He's a really friendly guy and I can't believe he does all the work himself.

You can get Invader 2 for as little as $5 which might be the best value of a software synth I've ever seen (other than Vital haha).

I hope you can make something great with these if you end up using them yourself!

I have more projects I'll share on here in the future too (free for forum members). I remade RC -20 using snap heap and I'm just finishing it up. Also have some presets I made for Tantra 2, Analog Lab V, Vital, Unfiltered Silo and I think a few other things.

 

They really sound good (i remember i downloaded a free preset pack for just testing and those presets were almost unusable)

I should check the synth, looks interesting.

Invader 2 is great! I honestly wish E-Phonic would develop an extended version of the synth with additional oscillators, more routing options, and more effects. It would compete with so many other soft synths. Thanks a lot too.

 

Thank you so much! I've definitely got a couple other projects in the works I'll share with you all. As much as I'd love to design sounds for Diva, Serum, Zebra, there are already so many other great sound banks for those. It's hard to compete haha.

These do sound nice. I just grabbed the Invader synth demo to give it a run with these patches.
And, If I could suggest presets for a synth? Synapse The Legend. I know it's not the flashiest synth around but it sounds gorgeous and there's only a couple preset packs that I've been able to find for it other than the one by Synapse.
