I will write up a big ol' Maschine tutorial explanation humbograndpa thing for those who dont get it


I made all the 0RGan1c expansion sets. So if there are questions, best directed to me.

Now.

You Need Maschine R2R 2.0.6 and UP on OSX for any of my expansions to work

Here is how you ADD new expansions:

1. Get the 'heffalump Library' folder and move it to the default location of your Maschine Library (this is usually inside 'HD Name'/Users/Shared/ )

2. Open MASCHINE 2 (not Maschine 1, these updates are not for Maschine 1)

3. Go to 'Maschine 2" in the top right bar next to your Apple symbol

4. Go to Preferences

5. Go to Library

6. A. Look in FACTORY and see if the expansion you just added is in there, if it is then click on the expansion and hit RESCAN

B. Go to USER and see if its in there. If it is click the expansion and hit RESCAN

7. If the expansion was under FACTORY it will appear under the Default 'NI symbol' Browser, If it was under USER it will be in the Tab next to the NI symbol that shows a small person


There isnt much more to it than that. I dont own many of the expansions i posted, but i got them ALL to work. Im good with computers, but if youve found this post you cant be too bad with computers.

1.Do you need this one?
Native.Instruments.Maschine.2.v2.0.6.UNLOCKED.MacOSX-R2R (=Native Instruments Maschine 2 v2.0.6 Update MacOSX)

2.How do you install the Maschine 2 software? I allready got the (legal) Maschine 1 software installed on OSX Mavericks.

1. Yes you do
2. from its the one from question #1 it should just be drag and drop. Legal Maschine 1 doesnt matter. I have Maschine 1 and Maschine 2 legal and both cracked too. I have almost every NI product legal and it doesnt effect the cracked ones.

My VST's will only show up as a demo in Maschine 2.0.6. R2R, what should I do, what's wrong, should I reinstall? (I'm using this on a Mac btw)

 

Read the thread man, this is for the expansions that he released not the app itself.

 

Hi,

I'm having trouble with these updates on PC. The libraries appear in maschine, but when I try to load, it tells : "please active [name of the expansion] via service center". I have already installed maschine 2.0.6 R2R and the factory library 1.1.0...

Could you help me with this ?

hi, I'm on PC. could any one advice me please as to where to put the .plist file on windows 8?
i've looked everywhere buti haven't been able to figure it out. any help is welcomed.

Sorry to rain on the party but Im a pc user who has downloaded all the ISOs that have NOT been provided with a crack from R2R and not a single one of them works. These seem to just be the original ISOs without any form of crack/activation file, so, as originals they don't work in Maschine 2.06. I assume to pc users that are saying they work are using the 7 that R2R have provided cracks for. Im very disappointed.

 

Guys We will update you soon, We on PC and We have every library working now We did it on a fresh windows installation(you won't need too) and our magic potions(Xmls)

This is the help all users. Not just PC, but it seems some PC users are having troubles. It does seem a bit more in depth for PC users and im sorry about that. Im not a hacker or computer wizard and i only work on OSX. But i had three people confirm it works on PC so i put it out as a PC release as well. Even OSX users had a bit of work to do with plists edits. But its really minor stuff. Its not difficult for OSX, but mildly more involved for PC users. But this is for everyone until a big team steps up to release it all again. Think, it could be months until a team releases a proper easy release. This was my way to help you all.


I am very sorry MaschineMan, i really tried to get this one to everyone properly. And i have a big team working on PC packages, but they havent sent it to me yet, they are very busy. If/when i get them i will post them on my big thread immediately. I have been told it will be soon supposedly.

I don't know about others, but my problem is not getting them in the view (like you screen shots - mine look the same) as the ISOs install them there, not problem. My problem is getting them to work without a crack the activate them and getting the message 'Please Activate Electric Vice via Service Center'

 

No worries package will be ready soon, just some more tweaking and we are good to go

Update: We are good to go will be posted shortly on audioz... members confirm all libraries work

I'm waiting for them to approve the post, should be up shortly don't know what the delay was and i wanted to make it exclusive to Audioz, but i guess it's not hot since eveybody else posts got approved lol and not mine

Can anyone tell me which plist file i need to edit in order to get the expansions to show in the factory library please?

 

Any expansions that are NON-ISO (10 in total) MAY need the plist edited if your on OSX and the harddrive name is anything besides 'Macintosh HD' which is the default name.

Except
'Shifting Clouds' Project in 'Raw Voltage' says the dreaded 'Please Activate Raw Voltage via the Service Center'
but all other project in the Raw Voltage seem to work fine - strange, ha, ha

That one was tricky but i just found out earlier that some of the samples for that Shifting Clouds project is in the Maschine factory Content folder, a fixed will be released soon, i won't stop to this is a complete masterpiece then disappear into the shadows again
