i did for many years, but switched to vaping. after a while i realized that vaping is far worse, as you just vape nonstop, in the car, in bed, in your moms house, in the grocery store, so i quit that. It was hard to quit, after many years of nicotine abuse, but i was able to and feel a lot healthier since. i still have an occasional cig here and there, once every few weeks or so

Sometimes I put on multiple nicotine patches because it focuses the mind.

Smoked cigarettes, roll ups and spliffs daily from 15 to 35, then just roll ups until I was 45, vapes for 3 years more then stopped that.

Had probably 5 cigarettes in the last few years. They taste pretty awful now.

Exactly: with vaping you end up smoking a lot more and e-cig is not any healthier than real cigarettes. I have to say that I cannot see my life without any type of bad habit: the moment I quit vaping there will surely be some other addiction ready to welcome me

 

I used to smoke tobacco for 45 years, came down with pneumonia and couldn't breathe but rolled up a cigarette anyway and tried so very hard to smoke it, realized that nicotine addiction had made me an absolutely insane maniac and stopped that very minute and never smoked again. I've emphysema for my efforts and use Win 10 and am not going to 11 no matter what anyone says. Fuck iLok.

 

I did on and off for a long time.

I used to start and stop again just on a whim just to go through the masochistic angst of quitting. Then I realized what I was doing and that took all the fun out of it.

Haven't smoked for about 4 years now. I don't really miss it except at family gatherings or when out at conferences or work groups where you get so bored you look for a reason to just fuck off and do anything else.

 

Only when I'm on fire. Smoking is suicide. Quit Bros and Sis', please.

 

I smoked heavily for years. When I eventually quit, I got a whiff of my leather jacket because I couldn't wash it. I could hardly believe I used to smell like that. Just can't smell the smoke when you are a smoker. I'm very fortunate that I don't have health problems as a result.
