Each lib folder contains 2 files
- *.png (the wallpaper)
- *.nicnt (to add the lib)

- IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ADDED ONE OF THESE LIBS JUST REPLACE THE WALLPAPER.PNG
- ABOUT UPDATE I M NOT SURE I CANT EDIT THE FIRST POST SO I WILL POST IT AS NEW MSG IN THIS THREAD
- WHEN POSSIBLE I WANT TO RESPECT THE ORIGINAL IMAGES LIKE DVD COVER OR OFFICIAL IMAGES ALREADY EXISTING FOR THE LIB
- THE WALLPAPER IS MADE FOR THE BASIC VIEW OF KONTAKT (DEFAULT SIZE) MEANING THAT U CAN SEE THE TITLE OF THE LIB EVEN IN THE MINIMUM SIZE
BUT STILL PERFECT IF YOU RESIZE KONTAKT SIZE

Awesome! Thank you. Unfortunately, though, it isn't quite working for me on a mac. It lets me add the library now, but I still get the wallpaper error when I try to load patches. And if I change the wallpaper.png to a jpg it doesn't add it to the library list but rather makes it the background for the instrument (meaning I can't see any of the controls. Without it everything is white with unlabeled gray sliders. It looks like none of the pictures are included in the resource folder. Any idea what I should do?

 

what do u mean wallpaper error, u got a message ?

And it shouldn't affect the images of the instrument interface
u say u don't see images, just grey part with sliders? it's not what the png and nicnt do
it's just for the lib tab

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I thought my problem would have been a known issue.

When I try to load a patch, I get a missing files error and it says that it couldn't locate "wallpaper.jpg". If I load without it, then there is no UI background and the controls are a bunch of unlabeled Kontakt-style grey sliders overlapping each other. I looked in the Samples/Adagio_Resources/pictures folder and there are all of the .txt files that tell Kontakt where to position all the GUI images, but there aren't any actual picture files. I have the Adagio Violins UI.nki and UI.nkw files, but they don't seem to provide a user interface.

When I load from the .nicnt file that you provided, I can see the library in my sidebar list, but the wallpaper doesn't appear there (I may have put the wallpaper.png it in the wrong directory). I tried converting the wallpaper to a .jpg and navigating to it when I get the wallpaper error, but it tries to make it the UI wallpaper rather than the library list wallpaper. That last part is obviously my misunderstanding and no fault of your files. I thought that your files would resolve my original issue, but they aren't intended for that, I realize now. Where does the wallpaper.png file go, though?

Also, do you have any idea how I can get the user interface working? I'm not at my regular computer, so I can't send a screenshot right now, but I'll try to PM you some later if you still need them.

to be clear :

- the nicnt and the png u get from that page are only for the "add lib" section ( on the left) as u understood
u should be able to see it if the nicnt and the png files are in the same folder, the root of the lib


- the problem u have it's the patches interface, missing images and weird sliders
I have not downloaded the adagio products in internet so i dont know how it is
i have a setup installing all the images in the correct folder
C:\Users\....\Documents\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5\pictures

Indeed , in the "resources" u should see two files Adagio UI.nkc and nkr
and another folder with images

try to make a search with windows in your adagio folder, type *.png in the field
if really u have no images, i guess u missed something
but i can send u the folder with images

if u find the folder, u have to put it manually to the path i said

I wouldn't have a problem making wallpapers in Photoshop, (requests welcome); but how do you make the nicnt file to add them? I am having problems with Soundiron Olympus Elements.

This is my first post & i bring a gift.

Here is the nicnt file & a useable wallpaper for Samplephonics Nevo Analogue machines

Just paste them into your "Samplephonics Nevo Analogue machines" folder, load up kontakt & add library
point it to the above & you are good to go!!

If anybody has any requests dont be shy i have some spare time so let me know what 3rd party lib you would like

FYI - The length isnt a mistake if you open it up and drag it makes a nice effect that suits the overall image
i think if you stay in theme with the pack you work on it looks far better
