Well, I have already enough basses:
    Rickenbaker
    Pettinhouse DirectBass
Lyrical Distortion - ‘72 Jazz Bass Direct
Orange Tree Samples - Iconic Bass Jaco

Maybe, some FX plugins needed, for example, to softeen the transients a bit...see these frozen audios: the transients are sharp and high and this's visible on the top track, while on the track below they are more soft. These are 2 different Rickenbacker presets playing the same part:

Continuing previous post, look at the picture, there is a plugin XBass 4000L, I use it almost everywhere to make a thin bass sounding fuller, bigger, but this time the plugin can't acnieve my vision of this bass...
Seems, I'll end up with layering different basses, maybe Rickenbacker and Bass Slide from Hypersonic as I did before, the task is to make it non noticable.

I thought the Scarbee rickenbacker sounded quite good. Depends on ones ears of course.

You have a number of Kontakt instruments, none of which are achieving your objective.
Did you visit the links I posted to hear audio demos to see if they'll get you in the ballpark?

Depends on the task, one wants to achieve in their track... one time rough bass needed, another time, soft bass, etc

Yes, heard all the demos, and they aren't better than basses I listed above

And about the plugin I mentioned above, you can hear it in action:

13 years later, but I don't know any other plug better than that

Ok, let's call it a day, decided, to make the bass soft enough but still driving, I'll try to combine/layer different basses puting some FX over them ( EQ, compression, saturation, subtle reverb/chorus and XBass 4000L, cuz it's irreplacable)
PS. This is just beginning...next parts are:
funk guitar, drums, brass, strings and the alto sax as soloing instrument ( for this part, maybe, I'll hire a good sax player)
but these are subjetcts for another threads
