show us your settings in DAW for audio setup and a screenshot of your mix control software again and take a photo of the back of your Saffire with output cables thanks

i can tell u that i have line outputs 1 and 2 cable from those to my monitors scroll back and look at the screenshot i took earlier of saffire mix.
    remember it worked fine before.
the way i have mix control set up is the way the focusrite guy told me years ago i havent dared touch anything in it

Focusrite - well that's your problem. Get an RME interface and your problem will vanish.

No worries but just to make sure in Cubase this is how it works so you could check when you next boot up. At least we might be able to help narrow it down a bit. If you can hear a simple speaker left right panning test on YouTube OK then it seems it could be some of your DAW settings messed up.

If same issue is happening in all DAWs then it possibly your Saffire Mix Console messed up and not setup right for both channels. You should see audio meter visuals for both left and right of main output in Mixer (Mix Console)

Sounds like your Mix Console is setup wrong then, maybe something reset it

Try change Monitor Output 2 to DAW 2 and set your outputs right then you should get Stereo and a DOUBLE channel visual display for Mix Output at far right as your only looks single block... See difference in images on Page 3 of this thread between yours and screenshots from Google

Just remember what you change and you can always put it back. I had the same Saffire Pro 40 and Saffire Pro 26 DsP

You can probably save your mixer setup too and know you can create different mixer pages in the tabs above

before i seen this message, for some reason i went into mix control. on the line input 3 and 4 section i changed line output 4 to DAW2 while playing a track on media player. to my absolute astonishment and cant think of the word i need i could hear stereo information. went into fl studio as it quicker to load, and i was able to pan
    yes,astonishment is the word

I'd start putting money aside for the next interface you plan on buying. Maybe this happened for no good reason, but due to my past experiences with Focusrite and their software; I would be expecting this to rear it's ugly head again. This is probably a prelude to "The End".
