Has anyone tried using this??
I play in a duo and I wanted to try and get my acoustic sounding better and more natural through a PA.
It's had some rave reviews. I also know there are other brands out there that do a very similar thing.
But I also use a surface pro with reaper on it.
From what I understand, the box has a preamp, basic eq and an IR loader.
So because I use a surface pro, could I just simply add an IR loader in the fx chain and load up an IR??
Would that essentially do the same thing as this box?

Fishman picked up the torch when Ovation owner and pioneer Charles Kaman died, Fishman is used by fender for their electronics in their Acoustasonic models. Fishman understands piezo's better than anyone at this point.

that said I'm told the irs work best if you have a similiar or the same model as the IR is based on. The IR's are acoustic models from recording the guitars well mic'd with hi quality mics in a proper room for such efforts.This gives you the ability to blend you native piezo sound with what the properly mic'd sound would be to get a fuller sound.

if you are playing out the fishman would be the easiest and most durable way to get the sound enhancement and be able to do it in a reproducible manner in different event situations.

If you have a music dealer that stocks it, try it before buying or buy from a place the will allow returns for a restocking fee in case it doesn't give you what you are looking for in the environments where you are playing.
