Btw, I programmed a Juno 106 and a Akai sampler from a X-Base09 drum computer. Was I using a DAW without knowing it?

Ask if SQL is pronounced 'sequel' or 'ess-cue-ell'. Never fails to work (though it's the latter, if you don't think so, burn in hell, heathen).

['dɔː] is the correct pronunciation, or else [di: ei 'dablju:]

 

I pronounce it daw, like dawesome. Dee-Aye-Doubleyew takes too much time to say that I can use to produce music (joking).

 

In the UK - it's *Door* LOL

I still fumble calling that one daw Logic Audio...

 

btw Who had this brilliant idea to name DAWs Logic & Reason?
When two music producers talking they could not understand each other:
