hooking up 1 hifi speaker to pro 24

    hi,i have saffire pro 24 interface. i already have monitors connected to it. i have a small hifi speaker i was thinking of using for checking mixes.i should be able to hook it up to the pro 24 yeah?
    i have the monitors in 1+2 so i could hook the hifi speaker to 3+4 yeah?
    or just 3? would that do damage to the pro 24 only using 3 and nothing connected to 4?
    the hifi speaker cable is currently just 2 wire at end of cable,so i need to connect the wires to an adapter.

    nothing is going to happen to the interface. you are only using the outputs.

    No damage, but if the hi-fi speaker is passive, you'll not gonna hear much from it. You'll need some kind of amp to drive it
