It is bad to wish bad things like that happen to anybody, though. I find it funny only in some black humour sarcastic sense that I can't help. I grew up with Dave Allen, Only Fools and Horses, and Monty Python.

Said that, I noticed that British people have this obsession with the royal family and what it represents, without realizing that the rest of the world doesn't give a shit about it. As far as I'm concerned, I have always seen the role of the King (any King) as the symbol of oppression and authoritarianism. It disgusts me that becoming King is by inheritance and that I cannot have an opinion by voting whether he can represent my nation or not. I feel irritated just knowing that there are democratic nations in Europe that still keep this institution alive.

Europe default state is feudalism. he love it that way, he like to be peasant, he like to obey authority, the science, state, the king, I pay taxes lookin azz

 

Not expert about this topic but it seems the king in UK has always the final word on any parliament decision, I can't see such an anti democratic power in Europe, am I wrong?

European countries that still have royal families: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
